Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Surakshit Samvaad is built so that privacy is a property of the system, not a promise. This policy explains exactly what we handle and what we deliberately never hold.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum required to operate the service: a one-time phone number verification token (discarded immediately after verification), your self-chosen Secret ID, and your public encryption key. We do not collect your name, email address, contact list, or location.

2. Phone Numbers

Your phone number is used only once, to confirm you are a real person. It is permanently deleted after verification and is never linked to your Secret ID or your account.

3. Messages

All messages are end-to-end encrypted on your device before they leave it. Our servers relay encrypted messages only and cannot decrypt them. Delivered messages are removed from our servers; undelivered messages expire after a maximum of 7 days.

4. Encryption Keys

Your private key is generated on your device and stored in your device's secure hardware storage. It never leaves your device and we never receive a copy. If you lose your device, your messages cannot be recovered — this is by design.

5. Analytics and Advertising

We do not run advertising, we do not use third-party trackers, and we do not sell or share personal data with anyone. Limited, anonymised crash reports may be used to improve stability.

6. Legal Requests

We respond to valid legal requests, but we can only provide what we hold. Because we do not store phone numbers, message content, or contact graphs, there is effectively nothing meaningful to disclose.

7. Your Choices

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Deletion removes your Secret ID, public key, and any pending encrypted payloads from our systems.

8. Changes and Contact

We will update this page if our practices change. For any privacy question, contact Inovare Services through the app's support screen.
